Michael Bernhardt

This drawing is part of a series made during a daily bus commute. The intention was to make drawings during the journey as a way of increasing time efficiency. Correlation between text and image along with subtle humor were other aspects of this exploration. Michael Bernhardt was born in Fort Collins, Colorado in 1975. He graduated with his BFA from Colorado State University in 1999 and went on to receive his MFA from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2009. He makes proposal drawings and model-scale sculptures.
