While collecting comic panels from magazines and newspapers, I experimented with altering the panels to remove all imagery, leaving just the shape of the panel and any speech bubbles that were present. The subsequent result was a dialogue between two unknown individuals.

Turner Hilliker was raised in Virginia and was influenced by his father’s mind-set and his mother’s open-mindedness. He recently received his MFA in Book Arts and Printmaking at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Currently, he is investigating the nature of certainty and self in his work.
