This House is Hauntedpaper, mill board, glue and book cloth 8 ¾ x 11 ¼ x 1 © 2013 $310 The inspiration and material for this book came from our new home, a suburban 1930s red brick semidetached house in Newcastle upon Tyne. After pulling out the old carpets we discovered underneath a layer of paper. I have used it as the pages of this leporello style binding. It had been walked upon by the previous inhabitants for over 50 years! It had lain their undisturbed since 1959, there was some newsprint to date it. This House is Haunted is also a popular northern soul song about lost love.
