My Memories of My Memories

“I created this book from a collection of snapshots from a family album owned by David and Madeine
Sutton. I blended my images with a facsimile of a chapter title page of a previously published monograph
by the same author, becoming a page in my own book. The intermixed images simulate a bizarre feeling of déja vu and bring to the viewer a memory seen through other memories. I felt that the size should also reflect a childhood memory of keeping small treasures in our pockets and keeping them for rainy days.”
