“Suspended; Without Sinking explores the depth of the ocean and how it can captivate it’s own creatures. Focusing mainly on jellyfish (and a few sea horses), I explore how they are able to move, gracefully, within water yet are still at the mercy of waves. The book is a visual journey leaving the reader with the possibility of comparing jellyfish to humans and pondering the idea of whether as humans we are all stuck, or suspended trying not to sink.”

Printed on a letterpress with carbon paper rather than ink, additional ink drawings were added, codex style book. All imagery created by the artist. Two copies include text by the artist.
