Sweet Grass: My Place

CB Sherlock’s work is about the threads that connect us: connections to the land, to our past, and to each other. In divided times these are fibers that link us together. Sweet Grass is about belonging; belonging to the place CB’s family visits every summer. This book’s theme is woven in the text, the imagery and the structure.

Sweet Grass is an accordion book with handpainted panels sewn together with prairie grass, letterpress printed text, housed in folded vellum box (hand dyed bottom box, transparent vellum top).
