The process behind my work involves good shape and color placement. I also believe in having a concept different from the what the subject matter suggest. This specific drawing deals with our ancient cultures and the ancient astronaut theory. My image references range from egyptian hieroglyphs to funerary stone carvings done by the great Mayans. The drawing and painting of Michael Good demonstrates his creative skill and interest in color and ancient cultures. Michael has recently earned his bachelor in fine arts at the University of Colorado Denver. His historic influences are Pablo Picasso, Kazimir Malevich and Josef Albers and his contemporary influences vary from Ellsworth Kelly to Julia Mehretu.
