From a longtime interest in mythology and folk lore grew the two-year book project the Palm Tree Story: a Colombian version of a popular South American folk tale which chronicles a little boy’s quest to help three men.
Printed in two versions, this portfolio edition presents the text and selected embellishments as an accordion book. The12 wood engravings are hand printed on loose sheets of Revere Silk. The pages nest in a palm leaf inspired enclosure within the clamshell box.
