S. Arden Hill Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada The Architecture of Memory “In this book I was thinking a lot about memory. My personal relationship with memory is questionable. Having suffered a somewhat serious concussion a few years ago I struggle with some key experiences and their memories. It has led me to ask the questions about how many experiences come between the moment of the memory and engaging in the memory itself. How do they pad or alter our memory or knowledge of the incident we are trying to remember? Can we have a fictitious memory? Transparencies were the perfect medium for this project as well as an unpainted glue cover. I tried to recreate a process of remembering.” The book incorporates digital manipulation and has a stab binding.
