untitled (informally known as the dream book)

“My untitled letterpress-printed book has informally been named by readers as the dream book. It tells the record of a vivid dream the I had. The story unfolds as it would if someone were nostalgically describing the previous night’s dream to a friend. With each card, I provide the reader with a new piece of the puzzle, mimicking an attempt to remember subconscious memories.”

untitled consists of sixteen cards housed in a hand-made clamshell box. The text on the cards features a Garamond typeface, as well as handwritten phrases. The title image, which is also included in the colophon, was hand-drawn and can be created in larger scale when the cards are turned over and put together. Both the text and the image were printed using polymer plates on a Vandercook press.
