“This Artist Book, Family Matters, was inspired by the very small tintypes I’ve collected at flea markets. They are less then an inch square but the emotion and personality of the individual is caught in the image. The piece is created using brass ‘pages’ which have the original tintypes as well as tiny German doll arms or personal mementos attached. The pages can be moved around to create various ‘family dynamics’.”
Metal pages sit in a wooden ”rulecase” box. The family members can be moved about to set up various ”family dynamics”.
