Stepehn Sidelinger received his BFA from Syracuse University and MS from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He has taught at the Kansas City Art Institute and Otis College of Art. He now teaches at the Ringling College of Art + Design in Florida.

Images were drawn two years before project inception. Then prose poems were matched to each pre-drawn images, which directed the painting of each image. Calligraphy was done simultaneous to painting allowing for matching title illumination. Hand drawn images and hand calligraphy with versal illuminated titles, box of moiré silk and velvet.
