Equinox - a nine year project that transforms my personal journal filled with daily memories and activities into a universal experience of everyday banality. Equinox 2000, the third book in the series, presents a date and a self-portrait juxtaposed with a childhood collection of paper dolls. Also presented is what I experienced each day according to my five senses. Each successive year demonstrates the continuing use of the autobiographical approach to convey the commonplace monotony of everyday living.

Louise Levergneux’s artistic practice is the production and distribution of artists’ books. Levergneux’s work incorporates photography as a device that expresses her interest in the concepts of memory and identity. Individual references are characteristic of the work, which centers on the act of collecting, storing and disseminating personal information.
