Recollections of my past are the premise for these particular works. Inspired by family events, I’ve recreated memories of those events. My use of clear material as backdrop effectively insinuates a “clear remembrance” of the past.

Andrea Crane is a mixed media artist that uses various techniques to create sculptural books. Her work is inspired by her memories as a child. She is known for her miniature drawing and her use of altered paper. Plexiglass is the perfect back drop responsible for showcasing her works to insinuate a clear remembrance of the past. Enthusiasts of her work say her art reminds them of a time in their own lives which make her art both personable and unique. Andrea currently resides in Golden, Colorado with her husband David, dog Larry and cat Lucy.
