Linda MorrowLong Beach, California, USAPoppy100% rag paper; linen cover 9 ⅜ x 9 ⅜ x ¼ © 2012 $200The warm-tone, b/w matte images were photographed and printed by the artist on cotton rag paper by Moab, using Quad Tone RIP, and assembled as signatures. These signatures were then hand-sewn and bound by Kater-Crafts Bookbinders in Pico Rivera, CA. Linda Morrow is a fine-art photographer living in Long Beach, CA. She took up photography after a workshop at Ghost Ranch in New Mexico some twenty years ago. She retired from teaching college English in order to devote her time to image-making. She likes experimenting with multiple-exposure and with different light sources in a darkened studio with table-top arrangements. She loves to make photographs that raise more questions than they answer. She has a deep connection to the natural world. |
