Beth Uzwiak Beth Uzwiak is a Philadelphia-based interdisciplinary artist and anthropologist. Along with photography, she creates works on paper and bookwork. Both her academic and artistic practices explore the human body and what shapes our embodied experiences. She has exhibited art at numerous venues and recently completed a yearlong juried artist residency at the 40th Street AIR SPACE Studios in West Philadelphia. She holds a Ph.D. in anthropology and currently teaches at Bryn Mawr College. |
