Living the Questions uses gestural painting with colored paste as the unifying design element and My Cape Cod uses illustrations and paper the colors of beach stones to create a visual narrative. Meg Kennedy is a calligrapher and book artist who lives in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. In addition to making hand-bound volumes, she has created more than 50 unique or limited edition artist’s books which incorporate lettering, illustration, painting, linocut prints and collage. She has taught extensively, and has conducted numerous artist-in-residence programs at schools in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is co-author of Building a Book, Binding a Poem: Artists’ Books in the Classroom. |
